It's ironic I suppose that I've chosen the very last day of the year to start my first Blog. I just thought it would be a good way of saying 'goodbye' to the old by starting something new. That's not supposed to be deeply meaningful or poignant, just a nice little observation.
The idea of having my own Blog has been a long time coming as I am the sort of person who jumps into something new with real enthusiasm and vitality, only for it to wane and fizzle out after a short time. So the idea of commiting myself to regularly updating this Blog strikes me as an onerous chore rather than a joyous adventure. Therefore, my New Year's resolution will be to ensure I do justice to my new Blog.

I think a lot. Possibly I think too much sometimes but I reckon we all do from time to time. I have a real habit of drifting off into the realms of fantasy and then being a bit disappointed when my overly optimistic ideas don't magically come to fruition. I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one - as John Lennon once sang.
